I'm guessing this is a joke........

You posted a picture with ZERO "ducks" in it, and spelled Barkley lake wrong.

From the link attached hereto: "Often mistaken for a duck, the American Coot is a common waterbird. Its all black body and white chicken-like beak distinguish this swimming rail from the real ducks."

They taste good whether or not you call them a duck. I ate them for lunch using duck commander recipe.

I'm not being mean just truthful. You said you didn't understand. You posted a picture of a few coots, which are not ducks. Just trying to make sure you are informed of what you are posting.

I can see from your Avatar why you thought the coots were ducks. All that herb your smoking got things out of focus. But im a coot killer from way back so dont feel bad.

A good coot shoot will work when u ain't finding ducks. It's also fun to try to run over them with a tractor while rolling rice fields.

I'm so ready. Scouting the next 4 days, but birds are scattered bad. No corn has been chopped at all, and our first field won't be started on until next week sometime. Only hopes until then is a couple ponds with one group apiece coming in at 7:15.

I have birds, so I guess I shouldn't complain.

I am looking forward to shooting some Dubs but the geese are not something I really care much about this time of year.
