Anyone ever used one. A buddy that I bowfish with was telling me about them and it got me interested. I started researching and this is what I came up with. So far the results are great. It's fairly accurate and hits hard enough to stick a fish. Gonna try it out this weekend on the real thing. Been shooting blocks of foam in the back yard for practice. It's just a standard $15 wally world daisy with a few easy mods. I have some high power bands on order that have an arrow nock and "D" loop for using a release. Let me know what you think....
Been bowfishing for the past 5 years and have never heard of such a thing haha. Sounds pretty awesome tho, if it actually works. Let me know how it works out for ya and I might have to invest in a new little project.
I now have a set of 40(lb) bands and a zebco 888 catfish reel attached to the front. I am in process of setting my 16 footer up for this season of bowfishing. Hopefully I'll get into some in the upcoming weeks and try it out. I'll post pics of success.
Max, If you ever want to go, give me a call.
