watching the news tonight i see that the tropical storm has a chance of comin up far enough to hit us. maybe itll be the rain we need to get enough water to have a decent duck season, im crossing my fingers and being hopefull
Seen a weather guess today, western ky could see 5-8" of rain from this. That could be half of our deficit. I know my hidey holes could use some rain. And the Mississippi creek could handle some of this moisture as well.
He'll, it may even push some tealies back this direction!!!!
Not that my opinion will matter but alot of those semi dry sloughs have alot of seed bearing grasses growing on the mudflats. They wont' produce a seed untill closer to or on into Oct and this rain may drown them out before hand so I sorta wish the water would hold off untill Nov.
