We are considering buying a lake lot on Kentucky lake to build a cabin...BUT have never hunted the lake. Is it the type of lake that I can jump in the boat and go find ducks, can you set decoys anywhere and hunt, restrictions, etc. Thanks in advance for any info.

We have a house on barkley, I know there are alot of places to hunt there. Never checked out kentucky before. I know they have draw blinds. Maybe one of the guys from down that way will chime in.

Ur looking at to paying tons of money and right now ducks r horible. They had a count last week and there was only about 550 ducks and on barkley 750
