Wisconsin 2013

Postby KyFowl20 » Tue Nov 12, 2013 2:14 pm

Headed up to Cudahy, WI this past Friday for a few days of duckin. Stayed with my broski teamoutlaw and got the Wisconsin experience. Day 1 was Saturday, hunted a private marsh with just a few inches of water and managed 5 mallards. Scouted for a few hours and then went to a small lake for some diver hunting. Next morning we hunted a cornfield that we had gotten the day before. Put out the mother load of full body geese but the birds didn't want anything to do with us. That evening we decided to hit a local restaurant called "The Braut house" I would highly recommend this place. Had a big Braut, cheese curds, the best sweet Thai chilli wings I have ever had, and to top the meal off, had some really good micro beers. All in all it was a great trip.

Sugar is a mythical place, with unicorns and sugar plum ferries. It's a majestic place. I mean moth8rf^@king majestic. Like a bald eagle getting a hand job from the statue of liberty herself.

Where abouts in the state were you. I am headed up to hunt with my brother next weekend. He is in the delavan area. He just started this year and is trying to figure it out on his own. Killed two geese the first day but no ducks yet. Hoping to be able to help him out some. Were the numbers good? He is seeing birds every hunt just can't get them in range.

Nice pics. I wanted to get my tail up to WI or MN this weekend also, but my dog was spayed and she's an older one and can't be left alone. So... What are you gonna do?

Congratulations on a good hunt there.

always alot of geese by beaverdam but you might be in the horicon zone and if you are you would of had to apply for goose tags in that zone back in august.
