Well Jake I`m a game warden I`ll be in touch

Ima let you slide this time Jake but the next warden might not. Some thing to think about when your learning to ID what your shooting at.

Hunted at a local lake opening day. Saw a lot more birds than usual but with no boat it was hard to get where they wanted to be. Scratched out 4. Not a bad way to spend thanksgiving morning!

on fire.. best opener we have ever had.. grey ducks were plentiful the first 3 days.. big groups wanted to play, and with no fewer than 9 guns in the pit at any given time, we have made them pay.. been alot of fun so far, but this warm up slowed us down some today.. we need the timber and the slash water to freeze back up and it will be on again.

Good deal. Glad to see ya gettin some shooting in. Had a real good day yesterday. Killed singles all day, 2+ bird groups just wouldn't quite do it right tho. Had a group of 40 geese work us 4-5 times and finally I decided to call it when the passed over the blind and managed to scratch out 3. Then had 8 come in hot, didn't even make a pass. Killed all 8. Glad to finally see some ganders, it's been a while. Hunted again today an managed one hen Hollywood. Weather is warm and the birds are getting stale. Ready for this weekend. Got some real good weather moving in. Should pick up quite a few. Keep me posted possum.

2 of us limited by 11 this am.. but don't let the numbers fool ya, it was slow.. tons of ducks in teh air, but no wind is what it is.. teal and greys did not mind the mostly glass water as we shot them close.. only killed 3 mallards. shot them from 35-50.. buddy had a new gun and could not hit anything at distance.. shot it on paper and it is way high and to the left.. no wonder he could not hit em..

Played ball with one of those guys from the woodie shoot... Heard about it when it happened. Don't remember particulars but pretty sure he hunted IL or at least in another state when TN license were taken away.

My opener was slow on lake and in the pit but it was better than work.

Didn't take a final pic of other 2 BBs. Shooting was subpar as normal. Not a bad day at the lake though. Diver hunters better get do their thing while BBs are here.
