Seeing mostly bluebills or is there a good mix of divers out there this year? Hopefully Friday I will be able to chase em myself!

I have a question for you Barkley guys. I will be in the area and was hoping to hunt a couple days. Can I scout an area and hunt from my boat blind or do I have to hunt with someone who has an established blind from the draw?

You can scout it and hunt from your boat. Since you do not have a map of the no hunting zones a general rule of thumb is if there is a house around its usually off limits to hunt. Be very careful as a lot of bays and the areas up north are very shallow right now.

Thanks Mmayes! I have spent a couple weeks each year fishing on Barkley for the last 15+ years, so I am fairly familiar with the lake. I have always wanted to hunt to hunt it, but it just hasn't worked out. I found a map that someone posted showing where the blinds are, and the no hunting areas. That should be very helpful. I appreciate the response.
