Hey guys, just moved up to KY the other day and wanted to say hi to the forum.....are there any snows left in the area???

your in a pretty good area, i'm from paducah, military has me NC though. i cant wait to get back home. shooting divers and sea ducks is fun and all, but i miss shootin them green heads

I just hunted in Hickman the other day, awesome place for ducks. You missed the snows by about two weeks btw :thumbsup:

Yep, we hunted right on the Mississippi. Had one snow in the decoys when we pulled up, didn't see anything for the rest of the day except for some stray mallards, divers, two groups of specks, and some sandhills. You ever need a hunting buddy let me know :thumbsup: I'm about two hours west, and I'd be willing to swap a turkey or deer hunt for a good mallard shoot.

good mallard shoots are hit and miss....some days you can't keep them from falling on you and other days you can't call or decoy enough to even get them to flinch.....but we can give it a shot next season....i'm gonna try this turkey thing out this year i think

sounds good, hopefully we can get together for a turkey shoot this spring....and we'll bust up some ducks when season FINALLY rolls around...got early teal too!

no joke season just ended and i'm waiting for it already....anyone get an extra turkey choke for a winchester they don't need???? Gotta find something to hold me over

welcome. Im from paducah area. i hunted hickman for the first time this last season. got set up and right at day light it came a flash flood lol. still had 8 different bunchs light wide. the wind changed and they didnt wanna come over or through the trees so they lit wide every damn time.

also this is my first year turkey hunting. i have seen a few and spooked a few. it's harder when u have no clue what ur doing but im trying lol.
