I had done a lot of scouting in the past several weeks, and it payed off today, should have killed more but we managed to shoot the same birds a couple times.

No luck Sat morning and didn't hunt this morning. I am going to put the hammer down on some doves this afternoon though. :hammer:

we managed to kill twenty this weekend up in frankfort,ky. we had a really good shoot the first day and and second day. made it well worth the trip. lots of 15lb plus geese

yeah we managed 20 for the weekend. didnt get to hunt this afternoon because we had to drive back from frankfort to western,ky. ramsey u hunting river, field etc?

If i would of stayed around here I probably would of hunted kentucky lake or somthing. but i havent patterned any birds in this area so thats why I was relying on my buddy up around taylorsville.

Hunted small lake around Mayfield that I had had patterned these geese on for a few weeks, the hole is also full of Woodies, can't wait for the 17th.

sounds good man. i know the fremont water shed by my parents place is a good spot for early season geese if the locals are using it at the time. If i didnt have to worry about gas i would be out finding some birds right now to shoot up haha.

that first pic isnt mine. the second set of pics is mine. and the benelli is laying in the grass.

isnt benelli the only gun they make?

I honestly wouldnt own anything else.

im hitting them definately wed. morning, thursday morning and afternoon, none on friday (cant miss class 2 times in one week) and then both sat and sun morning and evening.

Im sticking to the same morning spot that has always produced limits day in and day out. produced a 5 man limit last season on opening day and last day.

ya i gonna be hittin them hard sat. and sunday morning..but i got class 5 days a week so i cant miss...if i fail i get the boot...but good luck to ya...you hunting in graves?..i might give blizzard pond a shot, but goin to be doing most my hunting in marshall on some private ground

Came out to hunt on the weekend :thumbsup: around the Frankfort area :smile: did well we shot 8 birds Sat and 11 on Sunday--anyway this chick was staying at our motel right next door with 2 of her other friends who hunt also--not only do they hunt this one shot a collared goose with a leg band :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: an unbelievable turn of eventsImage

haha good job on all the jewelry. for those of u who got some let us know where they are from and how old. i think thats the most interesting part. my friend killed a 16yr old blue goose 2 years ago
