Opening Day 2005

Everyone please post pics and reports.
Had a very good opener, lots of people but still not to bad. We were done in about 40 minutes. Saw tons of birds but they were all teal except for a few so they will propably high tail it tonight.

Day two went to a different body of water, saw lots of birds but they were all stayin high.

I can't wait till saturday. i had to wait an extra week unlike you :pissed: and i honestly dont believe that my nerves can take much more. hopefully this colder weather we are supposedly going to get will bring some ducks down with it. cant wait! :thumbsup:

Im gonna go in the morning, but I think wednesday will be the mornig to go with this cold front moving in, saw lots of geese today. :getdown:

Three of us limited out by around 9:30..plenty of birds and hordes of geese. Totally mixed bag, teal, mallards, greys, widgeon, even two pintail and yes, two smileys.

opening morning four of us killed 7 specks, 2 mallards, 1 pintail, 2 shovelers, and 7 teal...not too bad IMO
