Catahoula Lake sounded like the D-Day landings on Normandy with all the shooting in the middle of the lake. We had little shooting due to the lack of water on the north end of the lake. We managed to kill one gadwall, one wood duck, and four greenwing teal. Now that the water level is where it should have been on opening morning, the majority of ducks have left. I hope a cold front will bring some new ducks. The remaining ducks seem very blind shy and call shy.
