I've spotted two different flocks at the wax this year of approx 50 birds each (up high) and saw a pair landing in Baton Rouge.

I hunted in the Lacassine area a few days after Christmas. We saw several flocks of 100+ moving throughout the morning. I have not seen that many in my entire life combined. They are obviously growing in population, so it makes sense they would spread to the east.
