Pecan Island

Postby Alex.18 » Thu Sep 27, 2012 6:07 am

i need some help from someone who knows the Pecan Island area pretty well. im looking at a lease for the 2013-2014 season. its on Front Ridge Road right in the middle of the 2 exits off of Hwy 82. its a 10 acre marsh land property bordered by levees. does anyone know if the property to the south of that area is private or public? i would assume its private and the guy that owns the property i want to lease said he thinks its Miami Corp. that owns it. is this true? thanks

Pretty sure Vermilion Corporation owns most everything between the front ridge road and the Gulf, except a school section or two. Nothing public.

Exxon owns A LOT of land just south of frontage road right there. I actually went and looked at that exact piece of property this past weekend. You can look it up on google eart or PM me because i have the actual plat for the property. Anyways its about a 50 acre pond that is divided into 5 different sections and they are in strips and way to close to be hunting next to anyone. You would literally be 30 yards from the next person hunting.
