Help finding spot on lease

Postby shep70057 » Mon Nov 11, 2013 3:37 am

Anyone know of a duck hunting lease that wont break the bank near New Roads/Baton Rouge?? I've gotten word from one towards Krotz Springs but they are asking $5500 per year... quite a bit steep for my taste. It doesn't have to be for this year, primarily looking for next year but willing to pay to ensure I can reserve a spot if need be. A spot on a blind is fine as well. I do already hunt public WMA's but they are closer to New Orleans. Would like something closer to home. PM any details please.

Thanks
Shep

Thanks for the suggestion Assault... I'm planning on making a trip there sometime to see what the WMA looks like. Would still like to find a lease as my primary place to hunt.
