Kepler Lake hunting

Any of you guys ever hunted Kepler Lake? I just leased a blind for this year to try and avoid all the competition on the river. I was curious if it was productive or not. Of course the guy I gave my money too said it was lol.

You leased a blind on a public lake?

An old buddy of mine that was from there used to hunt it. I know they killed a few but I dont think it was ever very good.

Yes I learned it for pretty cheap. The guy has 3 nice blinds and all the permits. 200.00 and it's mine for the year

Wow. I've lived in N LA for 10 years and had never even heard of Kepler Lake until now. Had to look it up to even find where it was located at.
