Anyone lease a blind for the season from Doug's. If so can you tell me about your experience and how they work. I'm looking into it for the upcoming 2014-2015 season.

Great guy. Very fair. I would deal directly with Doug though.

I pass that area every time I go hunting. Can't say I've ever seen a lot of ducks in those fields. I do see some geese from time to time. Of course, that's driving by at 60 and I only see the fields that border the road. So take that with a grain of salt.

Doug has holdings in Cameron, Vermilion, Jeff Davis and Acadia parishes. That's a lot ground to cover on your way to a hunt. Just sayin'...

Good point. I pass some of the vermillion parish property so that's what I was referring too. I also mentioned I can only see what boarders the road and to take all of that with a grain of salt.

Now you have me curious, as there's nothing I can think of bordering a main highway in Vermilion Parish. Where are you speaking of?

On 82, south of Suires....actually now that I think of it, it may be Mouton's hunting club I was thinking of. Sorry for the confusion.

Brody Mouton and his son have a house/camp on 35, but the only stuff I know that they hunt is about a mile west of there.

Brody Mouton

This guy  :lol3:

But it's definitely been a down year in Vermilion. Luckily there are lots of geese around.
