I will be headed to the WAX tomorrow for my first trip. Going in by boat/pirogue at daylight. My plan is to check the LAA for some areas holding water at low tide. I usually hunt Venice but want to up my odds on bagging a mallard before season' send. Anyone hunting out there that can give me any pointers or other general areas to check? Should I try open water or more inland? Feel free to reply or email to firstname.lastname@example.org
. And if you've got a pirogue and want to join feel free to message me as well.

A duck hunter must follow hunters of the oldest kind in North America. He must live his life a nomad, following the flock wherever it might lead. Through flooded timber, fields or marsh, he does what he must to find success.
