Teal in the Marsh!!!

Went out to the marsh yesterday, and jumped up a small number of about 40 bluewings. Gettin pumped up now guys!! I can already taste their tender goodness! Is anyone else seeing anything??? :yes:

Went out to my stompin grounds this weekend, not a teal in sight. Plenty of mottled's and woodies. Anyone else seeing any in SE La marshes?

South of Welsh between 99 and 382, saw probably 400 or more, scattered between rice fields. Moving in swarms of 60 plus. Also saw some on the Gray estate this past sunday. Looks to be good.Can't sleep past 4:00 anymore.

Saw several groups of blue wings out at the marsh yesterday while dove hunting. Saw a few flocks of mottles as well. Hoping that this little front that is coming will push some more birds down. I am on go mode as of now. :thumbsup:

I am seeing alot of woodducks.....on the creeks......an old beaver pond had about 30 blue winged teal on it.....That duck gumbo cant come fast enough

I have been working in cocodrie and golden meadow. only 20 bW teal in dularge. There are plenty of mottled ducks. Pont aux chene has been doing well.
