New to the site and look forward to hearing reports from the state. I hunt mainly marshes near Pecan Island and property in Lafayette. I travel and may try some hunting in the S'port area if I figure out the public spots. In laws have property on cross lake and saw divers by the hundreds one time but not sure if lake can be hunted. Been hunting ducks for last 30 years -just getting back into the serious hunting as of last 3-4 years. Finally got a dog since hunting marsh and she is a great companion and retriever-was saved at the pound. Sounds like we will have an even better season in 07.

If they're dumb enough to be lured in by plastic you're really just doing them a favor.
Know your target before you pull the trigger.
Duck Hunting is ALL about the bag.
