i went outside this mornin and the thermometer read 38 degrees. still have a few days before i can check myself. but i cant wait. i know the geese are movin, but what are the ducks doin? anyone seen any?

checked a couple places last week (before the front) and just saw some woodies....im sure thats changed with the cooler weather. Im actually planning on checkin again tomorrow. It wont be long now.ill start heavy scoutin on the 1st. I'm def getn fired up!

THEY HAVE BUNCH IN SOUTHCENTRAL LA FROM THIBODAUX TO MORGAN CITY THE DUCKS ARE HERE

I have seen alot i mean alot of woodies on the creeks.....and a few dozen mallards sitting on a beaver pond........Got a six point with the muzzle loader

Went out to the marsh yesterday afternoon, and saw large flocks of pintails, greys, and teal. Nothing to really speak of about other species but there was other birds there. Specks really showing up and snows are making there way also. :thumbsup:

Had a group of specks fly over me today. I daydreamed the rest of the day. :lol:
