I didn't have the privelage of takin a youngin out this weekend. but if anyone did, howd yal do?

Well i thought I'd have a report for you on this but my "youth" backed out on me the day before. He's not much of a hunter and wasn't 100% into going so ohwell, can't force 'em! Counting down to when I can shoot now....

I youth hunted. ended up with 5 teal and 1 spoon.

We saw plenty of Wood ducks but no wind. Nothing to drive them off the bayou to our pond. We had one group of 6 just as we were about to leave fly by the boys and they dropped one. They were excited to have a bird down and let the dog get wet. Should be better in the coming weeks with some fronts pushing in to give us wind. Definately keeps the mosquitos down.

i think my dog should be able to youth hunt, hes only 6. and since he cant shoot and all.....i guess i'll just have to force myself to do that part. :thumbsup:
