Spring Bayou

Im new to the area plane on duck hunting their this year 2014 can some one tell me where would be a good place to start scouting . The area is very large and i wouldnt want to step on any one who has a favorit spot. I purchesed some land to build a camp on little river.

Heavily hunted and lots of pressure at SB. If your on the WMA it's first come first serve.

What I will tell you is there is two ways to approach hunting at Spring Bayou.

Where there are many hunters there are many ducks but if you don't have one of about three spots your going to be frustrated fast. This means getting up early and hopefully beating the locals to the spot if you hope to have a good hunt.

Where there are few huntes there will be fewer ducks but the ducks you do see are more likely to do what you want them to do if you can call and are well concealed.
