Just wondering if anyone around shreveport bossier has seen any birds yet. Checked a few spots and nothing yet. Saw a couple hundred in high island on way back from galveston. Thanks

I went on my first scouting trip today, but i didnt see many teal. I saw a lot of local woodies and believe it or not a lot of mallards. I wonder if the hurricane sent some of the local mallards up here from down south? I have a nephew who works on the tug boats and he sees mallards all the time in the intercoastal canals down south. The way the rivers are dropping it will be close to the 17th before i can tell where I CAN hunt thats not high and dry. Man, we need some more rain up here.
