I have been trying to get the word out about DHC to all of my duck hunting buddies, but apparently they haven't checked out the site yet.

If anyone has any duck hunting friends in Louisiana that aren't aware of the site, I encourage everyone to tell them about it. It would be nice to have more participation in the Louisiana Forum.

Finally got a break from work. Nice to see everyone's alright. It's nice to think about something other than the big K(atrina)! :salude:

Present and accounted for...just a note, we had no damage from Rita here in Mamou, but would you believe the camp at Toledo Bend had a branch go through the roof :pissed: . Got temp repairs done, glad I didn't head north for the storm.

From what I have heard around West Louisiana and East Texas, they got :hammering: by Rita. I understand that there was a lot of tornado damage also.

We didnt get much bad over here other than some high wind, it had died down when it got here. Most of what i heard was south around many and jasper and along that line between.

Exactly, the camp is about 3 miles north of toledo tackle..so right in the area that caught a lot of wind. Thankfully, the (large) branch must have fallen after the rains because we got no rain in the camp, just damage to the roof and ceiling.
