11/18 - Noticed on my way to work that Little Togus is skimmed with ice. Guess I will have to rethink my weekend plans. Anyone have any luck on the Kennebec in the Augusta area?

11/18 - Decided to check out the Kennebec river just South of Waterville in the evening and noted 8 Ring Necks and (1 Male Eider!). Didn't realize that the Eiders came this far inland. Very cool.

11/19 - Saw that little togus has also reopened.

Isn't that the way it always goes. I had heard one report that said freezing rain tomorrow afternoon. . . yuck. Think I will try my luck on the Kennebec tomorrow morning and possibly evening as well. Will be interested to see how the weekend goes for everyone.
