ice in the bottom of the boat, everything covered in frost. motoring threw the darkness this beast pulled itself from the darkness and parked it on my bow. at first i was scared then i was grateful. his weight on the bow evened out mine for a smoother ride

crap. didnt have a bird in sight. this area is hard to hunt this time of year. never any consitancy. one day there will be 500 birds roosted. the next none. they couple dozen heading into feed the next few days and none roosting. its my home turf too, easiest for me to get in and out before work etc.
