Killed this duck this evening. My first band to date and I am still wondering if it is a mirage!!

Thats awesome way to go! Always seeing the geese, mallards and woody ducks. Not that thats a bad thing but always cool to see something different. Nice bird!

Right on!!! I've yet to take a banded Black Duck. Make sure to let us know his banding "tale" when you are able to get the info! Congrats!!! :grooving:

Found out today. The bird was banded in January of 2012 and it was banded 2 miles east of Bucksport only about 12 miles from where I shot it.
