New guy

Postby Washburn88 » Sun Oct 27, 2013 12:36 pm

Hello all, Long time follower first time poster. Below is a picture from saturday. We connected on a few birds but didn't see the push we expected.

I head to Boston Wednesday for some medical stuff and won't get a chance to hunt again this year. Hate to be the new guy asking for stuff right off the back but I'm not asking for anyone's honey hole coordinates  Some pictures from everybody on their hunts would be appreciated. Something to keep me going and see what I'm missing :lol3: thanks in advance!

Thanks all for the warm welcome and prayers! Look forward to seeing all your pics.

decoycarver- You nailed it right on the head with the yuppie liberal comment. You should have seen the look on the nurses face when I asked if I could hunt between rounds of treatment. Don't think she was expecting that. Says "You can't kill little Bambi" Little did she know I already got him with my Bow.
Said no I meant duck hunting. The pissed look on her face told me all I needed to know about her thoughts on hunting! :lol3:

Good luck to all you guys, hope you get into them good!

Thanks all for the pics that have been posted. Some great ones from huntwithashorthair!

The geese pilling in to the pond behind the place I'm staying is driving me crazy. All day long in and out. Thank God I can't hear them from my room or I'd really loose it. Then I get pics like this from friends up home. Still like there is plenty of geese in the north zone. Looking forward to next season all ready!

Good luck in Boston, hope all goes well. A picture from this morning in Central Maine. Lots of migrating ducks, hunted for an hour before work. Black, Mallard, Teal and Bufflehead, a mix of ducks.

Saw over a hundred ducks, many of them Blacks. Overwhelming numbers as one person with an over/under. Skye would have been busy this morning.

Could've avoided the skunk with 2 merg's but opted to pass. The sunrise was worth it! Then of course there were the pick up ducks...the 6 Mallards that came by as I was picking up!!!
