a few ducks(about normal amounts for this time of year) and a few geese (maybe a few more than normal) but with so much water around and in fields they are content to stay here for a while i would guess. right after the first of the year it is supposed to stay below freezing during the day so this should lock up the smaller areas and help send some birds our way.

Unfortunately it sounds like it's going to warm back up before this weekend. :fingerhead:
Hopefully the cold snap this week brought some new birds in that will hang around. Last weekend was terrible on the Eastern Shore. No ducks, Low numbers of Geese, and nothing wanted to decoy at all. Here's to hoping January picks up.

just was checking in to see how u md guys are doing.. Up here in pa that cold snap early this week pushed a ton of birds into the area and a lot of guys i know finally had some good shooting. unfortunately the northern zone closed the day they all pushed. the southern guys ive been talking to are still seeing birds and the waters that froze over, even up here in the northern part, all thawed out and the birds havent left. the weather isnt looking too hopeful either its looking warm for the next week or so. As for geese they are here around average numbers, they just showed up a little late, and the snows are starting to show up. I dont know when your season ends but good luck for the rest of it ours is almost over so hopefully well freeze over and send some wings your way.
