License problem

Postby Ilovesidebysides » Wed Dec 28, 2011 6:04 pm

Friend of mine wants to hunt tomorrow...he can't find his license but he has a copy of it. It's a photo copy of his actual license. Do you think that DNR would be ok with that? He has his stamps, but not the actual license.
Opinions?

Since you can print the license when you buy it online, I don't see why not. Just be sure to have the Federal stamp. MD doesn't require the physical stamp any more. Oh yea...be sure the stamp is signed too.
Good luck tomorrow.

You should be good. DNR can also view your information on their computer in the trucks.

Is that true? On my MD license it says you don't need the stamp for the first 45 days if you bought online? I'm probably just confused

If you get the stamp mailed, than the receipt is good for 45 days. After that, you either need the stamp signed or buy a new stamp/receipt.
