....Or are the bluebills non-existent this year? In previous years the river and bay areas I hunt have been covered up by bluebills but I have yet to see one this year. I have spotted the usual suspects in my spots with the execption of bluebills, and they are usually the highest numbers. Anyone else shot, or even seen bluebills in any substantial numbers yet this year. I know the season has been tough with the weather not helping but any thoughts? Havent migrated yet??!!

We have killed lots I birds this year, but bluebills have been very minimal. I bet we've only killed 10, and we are normally done with them and letting birds light so we can pick out ringnecks. Very weird not seeing giant wads of
If they're dumb enough to be lured in by plastic you're really just doing them a favor.

Most of our bluebills come from Lake Erie and until that freezes we will not see them - - -

I'm here in southwestern Pa, have seen more bluebills this year than others I can remember. Not big groups, 100 down to 30 some, but the trickle has been steady since the first of the year. On that note, saw alot fewer ringnecks and the greenheads and blacks have not shown up yet in any numbers. Last year it was an overfow of blacks.

Yep. Seems like they've been here all year.
