That's crazy. It's really gonna go over well when it also comes out that they're dropping it to one buck next year. Doesn't bother me too much, since I mostly shoot does anyone and have a bucketful of crop damage tags, but I expect it'll really fire up some of those lease holders, who are gonna pay a lot more money for one less buck. Silliness. If these jackasses could just figure out that they need to SPEND less, they wouldn't have to this nonsense. A license increase of 90%? A bow and ML stamp increase of almost 200%? Really? And all while having less areas to hunt. Friggin' geniuses.

Well obviously the productive people in the rest of Maryland have to pay for the unproductive people in Baltimore. Someones got to pay for people on the public feeder. It may as well be sportsmen. We are becoming a little taxachusetts.

I have spent a lot of time with Maryland Sportsmen where they were around and now MDWFA. Born and raised in this state and I am now, very much considering moving far away from this state.

i hunt urban areas where there are trying to decrease the population and bow hunting is the only way to get it done. i would think that they would even credit me ($$$ towards next year's license) for shooting a doe in this area, not charge me more. ***!?

Pretty soon the only people able to afford hunting in MD will be the Lobbysists from DC.

Thats right...the way they keep taxing and putting a heavier burden on the working class the fewer of us that will be able to afford the gas for the truck, the tolls for the bridges/tunnels, the ammo, the license, etc... as everything keeps going up except my paycheck.
