Anyone spotted the teal yet? I had about ten on my pond with some woodies last week. Im gonna head to my usual spots for some scouting next weekend.

I usually dont scout much for them until the weekend prior to the opener. Ill scout the sat and sun before the opener this year. Im sure theyre here i have some buddies in nc and they are starting to see them.

I looked on the du migration site and the guys in the south are starting to see the teal migrate in. In some areas the teal are in sizeable numbers. One guy said that there was a teal migration push in mid August and with a cold front moving in ,there should be another push around September 8 . I'm ready!

saw 7 on a pond in MoCo today. let me walk right up to them and then did a fly over right after.

Ive heard from a few guys in sc that theyre getting a good bit of them down there already so im sure with some scouting i can get on some decent numbers for the opener im going down the shore sat sun monday so ill have two good days of scouting..ohio are you working that monday? If not and pending me finding birds your welcome to come. I know you have twins on the way so better get some hunting in while you can.

My buddy in dorchester county said they were all over.
But i didnt see anything over here yet

fowlman-thank you for the offer. i am off, but the wife wants to go camping. she wins those decisions these days. i appreciate it regardless.
