Making that decision tonight since birds are gauranteed to change patterns the day before the opener every year!
Im trying to not bust any roosts this early in resident season even though ive got birds on farm ponds. Im trying to find a cut field with birds in it tonight.
does having multiple screen names on a forum and having a conversation with yourself make you an extra special rock star hunter?

I'm going to try a spot on the potomac where I saw a bunch of geese a few months ago. Haven't been able to scout much due to work travel, going on old intel, bringing my fishing rod along in case I miss on the geese. Good luck everyone.

No place to go for the morning. :crying: Guess I'll sleep in. Going to VA for a dove shoot in the afternoon though so it won't be a total lose.

Good luck to all!

My ride can't go tomorrow morning because his basement flooded. Great timing! I think I'll just put on my waders and sit in the yard. :crying:

You could always grab a couple of floaters and setup in a corner of the basement. Seems to me a REAL waterfowl guy would of worked all night and then take off a couple of hours for the opener.

Of course I'm sittin' here at a keyboard when I should be out somewhere swatting various biting insects.

Sure hope the doves are flyin' later.
