Are the geese really flighty when distant shots go off?

Postby MDcanvasback2189 » Tue Jan 16, 2007 10:31 am

Hey i have been hunting down in Kennedyville and near Rock Hall and have had lots of chances at geese. But the thing im seein the most is that when i have a flock locked up and about to come in and some really distant shots go off like 10 miles away, they pick up as haul ass out of there. Anyone else seeing this?

Yes- see it all the time. Once we start seeing the full migration it should lessen b/ these are mostly residents. Problem is, the season will be over by then.
