??? about marsh land in dorchester

Postby berettaswinger » Mon Nov 04, 2013 1:52 pm

I was wondering if anyone could clue me in on hunting the marshes in dorchester. I was told that you can setup any where as long as it wasnt in the refudge. He said he launches off maple dam rd and puts out layout blinds in the marsh. I have been looking everywhere for the regulation but cant find them. Called dnr and they where no help. Can someone please spare there knowledge on this. Thank you!

If wind is forecast for more than 20 don't hunt there unles you are familiar with wind effect on tide. The Road may be under water or the marsh may be dry in a matter of hours depending on direction and tide.

Its 30,000 acres.

You can find spots, like most public the easy to get to spots or spots that seem to hold birds fill up first.
