Spring Snow Hunt

Postby skydog » Mon Nov 25, 2013 10:00 am

Hello from the Va forum,

I'm thinking about trying to plan a Spring Snow Goose hunt in MD or DE this year and am looking for any direction yall might be able to provide. Planning to probably go the guided route so the names of any good guides in the area would be really helpful as well as any other information that would good for me to know. I'm also never one to ask for a handout but if anyone has room in their field for one more some time, I'd be more than happy to swap a Virginia deer (still or dog hunting) or Spring Gobbler hunt- both on large tracts of private land.

Go in February with Tuscarora or Tommy Marvel (Chesapeake Guide Service).

They book up very early, especially Saturdays, in fact you may already be too late.

Thanks for the suggestions so far. My work schedule is flexible so I was probably going to target a weekday but I'll go whenver the birds are there.

Call jerry and tell him to call u when he is on them real good.. u will only get a days notice but that's your best shot at an epic hunt. He called me on new yrs eve two years ago and said he had a field with 15k birds in it 5 of us went the next morning and killed 145 birds by 1030 am. Absolutely unreal
