Went out on the Patuxent near Davidsonville on Saturday. Saw 1/2 dozen wood ducks and a lot of geese. Did not get to shoot at anything. Had a chance at first light, we were setting our decoys and a flock of geese landed on top of us but no one had there guns loaded. That was the closest they came all day lol

I've been hunting the bay front up north near they bay bridge the last few weeks. We've been limiting out on black heads everytime out. We mix in some buffies and redheads here and there but not too much. Not seeing any old squaws where we're at like years past, but we've been seeing some big rafts of canvas backs near the magothy. I'm guessing/hoping these next few winter storms will push down alot of birds so this last month should be awesome.
