A place to learn from others, share information and gain knowledge on duck hunting in Maryland, of the fabled Chesapeake bay.
My dad is retiring to the MD eastern shore, so naturally I was looking at hunting opportunities in the area. I live in Virginia Beach and do quite a bit of hunting here, but am always looking for a new adventure. I would ideally haul my float blind up there, but in reading the regs it looks like you still have to be hunting at a registered blind site. As a nonresident, it doesn't even look like I can register a blind site. So it looks like I'm effectively locked out. Am I reading this right?

if your float blind has a motor, there is plenty of public land out there.
IF not have your dad register it.
