Look close at the mallard. Not the best pictures. Do you see it?

Here's a cropped image I didn't notice the double bands till I zoomed in.

Haha. The other day was driving past a pond that holds a lot of ducks and there were a lot of mallards so I pulled over to look. And there is this one Mallard drake feeding (you know the way they stick their heads down into the water exposing their feet) and I see something glare in the sun. When it when down, you could easily see the band on one of its leg.

Time to break out the BB gun...haha

This was an area you can't hunt. Maybe I need to break out the wrist rocket someone might hear the BB gun  That duck has to fly out of there sometime. Picture was taken in Baltimore county.

Labs,
it is amazing, I hunt right up river from you guys and we do not ever get shots at blacks or mallards! Just see them flying your way!

They are cupped and committed like no other down there....we do see alot working other parts of the river, but light calling usually gets them to come in....the goose numbers there are up....you gonna be out on Saturday? I am bringing a portable grill and staying out all day.... ps, we killed three mallards yesterday way down river, and got a goose and one mallard today...ps, keep the geese moving down the river, and we will try to let a couple of ducks get through to ya!
