Anyone ever hunt the pax? My brother might be able to get a spot for us near Lower Marlboro. What kind of ducks are common?

I hunted a little south of where 231 crossesthe river a couple of weeks ago. Didn't see any ducks, but there were lots of geese in the area. I spoke to a DNR guy and he said there might be a few woodies around, but not many ducks until the end of the season when things start freezing up. With the weather like it's been, though, it might not get cold enough to really push stuff down this far. Never can tell, though.
