Maryland Early Season Hunts

Postby DrakesOnly » Wed Oct 22, 2008 8:30 am

Gentlemen -

Just want to see how things are looking down there on the Eastern Shore. I just finished up my early season here in PA on Saturday (the 18th), and I will be making it down for the last day of early duck in Maryland this upcoming saturday (the 25th). With something called a job, I don't get to hunt five days a week anymore like I'd like to. God I miss college. Anyway...

I'll be hunting on a farm in Preston, on Hunting Creek near the Choptank river.

Just seeing if anybody had any insight for me. How has the flight been? Any particular birds in major numbers (besides Geese)? I'm looking to bag some teal since I rarely get into them where I hunt. I smash woodies at home but cannot get enough. I'd appreciate any feedback, I'm obviously excited...
