I got squat. Just hung out with the dog in the mist.

took some really nice pics, and then wished it was goose season here on the eastern shore.

Won't get out to Thursday. Finally seeing some ducks move in. The Buffies started showing up this week. Went to BPS to see if I could pick up a 1/2 dozen decoys and of course they had none. I wish they would build a Cabelas close.

Hopefully things will start getting better. At least it's starting to get colder.

Ducks on the shore

Postby Salisbury » Thu Nov 13, 2008 2:29 pm

Does anyone know where the ducks are on the shore. I have hunted nearly every public marsh and am seeing almost no birds...

Only saw 3 ducks today. Didn't even get a chance to warm the barrel up. I did have about 4 flocks of geese fly right over us with one flock in gun range. Come on Saturday.

Mike,

Would you mind sharing what region you were in? I'm hitting Cecil County on Saturday. With the forecast for early T storms, and the lack of ducks I've seen, I'm debating even heading out until the weather gets colder.

Made it out a couple times this week, did pretty good on the woodies and black ducks. Not many mallards yet, hopefully they show up once it gets a little colder.
