Roll Call?

Just curious as to who is here during the "off" season - seems like this place gets some action during the season but has been quiet since.

I'm still checking the forum every now and then, getting psyched about moving back to New England. (with the exception of having to buy a house there!) other than that I can't wait.

I don't live there but I grew up in Mass.
I've been talking to admin about making New England one forum, don't have any thing set yet but I think it will happen and it will be an improvement when it does. It'll give more opportunity to chime in on posts from all around the New England region.

combining for a regional new England Forum would be a better option. Works good for the other site's. Who is the point of contact for getting this rolling??? any suggestions? Thanks Mike

Hello all, New to this site as well as duck hunting. Looking for some info on where you can duck hunt in central Ma (Attleboro to about Sudbury or Black Stone Valley.) Also any info regarding loads for 3 1/2; tips on retriever training and other helpful tricks would be greatly apprietiated. As always I would love the opportunity to hunt / learn from an expierienced waterfowler. -Mike Bassett

:welcome: Mike

Keep checking this forum as it will get busier as the season approaches, there are places to hunt in your area but it will require some looking and asking around.

The DHC dog forum is a great place to get advice and info on retriever training.

As far as loads for your gun, I recommend not skimping on the price (really does make a difference) and make sure you pattern your gun to see which performs best. If your not familiar with the different shotgun loads available, do some research on the DHC shotshell forum.

Good Luck this season

I'm still putzing around- usually busy with fishing through end of September, but start scouting that time as well. Hope to do better this year with sea ducks, dabblers, and geese/brant. The Cape has it all!

Hi All,

I'm new to this site. Looking to get back in to duck hunting after several years off. Looking for a hunting partner. I'm in the greater Boston area and usually do my hunting on the North Shore, but I am willing to travel to other places.
I will be checking in frequently. Good luck all.
