MallardXPintail Hybrid

Postby clundholm » Wed Jan 16, 2013 11:32 am

Never post on here but thought some would like to see the bird I shot today on a coastal marsh. MallardXPintail Hyrbid. Wanted to know if anyone else has seen or shot one in Mass this year.

You could have it mounted or maybe ask MassWildlife or another state wildlife organization and see if they'd want it for one of their displays.

Yeah that duck needs to be on display, very cool!

I believe that shotgun is a Browning Cynergy? Cool as well, let us know how it shoots? I was thinking about purchasing that shotgun a while back - but went for the Benelli Vinci instead...

Yah dropped the bird off last night to a taxidermist. Taxidermist said he has never heard of one being killed in the area. The gun is a Browning Cynergy. Got it at the beginning of the season. Love the gun, points great and never jams or misfires. Used to shoot a SBE and wouldn't go back.
