Feeding the local wildlife...

Postby Baymen Moe » Sat Jul 13, 2013 1:10 pm

Quiet around here and this by no means is very interesting. I enjoy my yard and all the plants and flowers etc...
For the past few nights my Hostas have been chowed upon by deer. The funny thing is, the planting bed they're eating from borders the asphalt in the cul de sac I live on, so they are standing on hard top while eating my plants. I figure one more night and the Hostas should be eaten to the ground. Hmmmmm, my bedroom window is a perfect 15-20 yard shot with the bow. Wonder if my wife will hold the light on 'em :lol3:

They love hostas and if they're eating them now good luck getting them more than 2 inches off the ground now.

I know they love the Hostas. This planting has been in place for over seven years with no takers until now. And there's lot's of deer around here.

I have been seeing them around the house here as well. They are on the honeysuckle and haven't found the Hosta's yet.

Bottle rockets are better, damn deer used to eat my hibiscus leaves until there was nothing left. That's when bottle rockets and deer off came into play and they haven't been back
