How About A Get Together For The Mass Boys

Postby JoeP » Wed Nov 15, 2006 12:43 pm

Guys, I spoke to Tim D last night. Real nice guy, alot of knowledge.
We were thinking about putting together a Mass Forum get together.
Maybe a few cocktails, and shoot the crap for a while. Before we can
set a final date we would like to know how many of you guys are
interested in something like that. If the numbers are low with just us
Mass guys maybe we can open it up to the other forums such as Maine,
New Hampshire, etc. Please give it some thought and let us know. I
think it would be alot of fun!! And people can learn as well.

Joe, Great Idea  I am interested.

We did the same thing on the VA forum last year and had a great time

Well I guess a get together is not to appealing to most people ??

Tim D what do think, should we open it to surrounding states ??

I notice that there are a bunch of people that have looked at this post
but we only have three feed backs from Mass guys.

Tim,
Do you have a business card with a buch of geese on it? I think I met you a couple of years ago when Galyans went out of business?

I thought that was you...did you win any calling contests last winter?

Oh well maybe our paths will cross at a couple of similar locations this season....good luck :salude:

I'm game for a get together provided the date/time don't conflict with other responsibilities...generally Saturday PM's best (unless I'm on call that weekend). Hope I can make it!

Hey guys. Are week day nights all right with you guys for a get together?
I know that most people with a normal schedule have weekends off,
but I dont have a weekend off until January !

These are my next few days off,
12/2
12/3
12/8
12/9
12/14
12/15
12/20
12/21

and the day after x-mas. I do have some personal days I can take
off, so if the majority of you guys can make a day that I cant I
may be able to swing something. Keep in mind I work the midnight
shift, so after 8:00am the day before these dates I have the rest of
the day off. Example- I have to work 12/1 but after 8:00am I have
the rest of the day off and dont have to be in at midnight because I
have 12/2 off, so I would be available 12/1 night.

Lets talk about this so we have time to plan and it is not crunch time
with x-mas.

If we're talking December, I'm good any Wednesday evening, and the following Saturday evenings- 12/9, 12/16, and 12/30.

Joe, I'm good with any date but the 15th. (X-mas party). What ever works for everyone else. Let me know if I can do anything to help out.

My schedule is pretty flexible. However, Wed-sat evenings are ideal. The days that do NOT work for me are December 15, 19 and 20th.

Ok guys, it will be held at Tim D's house on Dec 14th. I will leave it up
to him for the directions. This should be a good time, food, drinks,
and shoot the crap for a while. How is 5 or 6:00pm for most people?

Tim, If I bring a duck and goose call are you going to teach me how
to make those sweet sounds you were making?

I have a duck call, but need to pick up a goose call, what do you
think I should get?

Ill bring some Bud, or Miller, that green bottled stuff you like makes
my head hurt. :toofunny:
