Postby Tim D » Tue Mar 06, 2007 6:37 pm

I just got back some bird band info on a canada goose I shot during late season !!

Hatched in 1990 or earlier

Baring ,Maine

Sex (male)

Banded in 1993 with neck coller

Migration came to a stop on 2/3/07

Oldest bird I'd ever shot

Thanks Tim

we got one of those too.......and I bet in or around the same area!
If it flies, it dies; if it's brown, it's down; if it swims, gaff it!

Real close to my new house....I shot a couple birds out of those fields the lday before the last day of the season....funny they would only come in around 3;30 I attribute it to when the ground was warm enough to pick at...
