Well at the very least I'm consistent, and have had some very satisfying hunts this season, and have yet to meet the skunk. The greatest part about getting this greenhead this morning was using the jerk string and no calling. The drake and hen mallard took one look and made a B line to the moving floaters, cupped and committed. The goose numbers of last week vanished. Probably because I brought goose dekes and set up in a different spot hoping for them. Beautiful crisp morning to be out, and I love every minute of it no matter the bag.
My doctor said drinking heavily can lead to a slow death. I said good, I'm not in any hurry.

great looking drake! Good to see someone is getting out there. Are you contending with ice yet?
