Duck/Goose Hunting in Western Mass

Postby marshmarauder » Tue Dec 03, 2013 2:14 pm

Hey Guys and Gals,

Finally made the transition from deer hunting and started gearing up for waterfowl. I live in Western Mass (Belchertown) and I am in search of some prime areas. I've been scouting around on my days off but was wondering if anyone out there has any suggestions. Any help would be greatly appreciated, also anyone duck hunting in the area who needs another gunner, I'm your guy. Thanks!

If I remember correctly, the campus pond at UMass is stuffed with ducks and geese.

Im new to hunting as of October. I noticed this thread when I was searching for the same answers as Marsh. I too am in W. Mass and looking for more locations that may be good to hunt duck/geese. I go out scouting on the weekends but like I said, Im a newbie.
